Alaska Brass is an exciting and versatile component of the Band of the Pacific. Their unique instrumentation of five brass plus percussion makes them a highly entertaining ensemble suitable for any number of settings, including educational, ceremonial and concert venues. They perform many styles of music, including Baroque and Classical, marches, popular, ragtime, dixie and jazz.
Since 1977 Alaska Brass has performed concerts and conducted clinics for civic and school audiences throughout Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, the Yukon and British Columbia. The group has also been featured with a host of community musical organizations, and has participated in local, state and international festival celebrations.
